At the 2015 Upstate 8 Literary Festival, where sixteen high schools in Northeastern Illinois were competing, my piece "12:36 AM" won the 3rd place award for "Best Short Story." My story was also published in Waubonsie Valley High School's "Premiere" Literary Magazine.
