I am a tutor who enjoys working with students from elementary school all the way up through the college level. Some of the subjects I tutor include Reading, Writing, Phonics, Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, College Essays, American History, European History, World History, Study Skills And Organization, Public Speaking, Religious Studies, Elementary Math, Social Studies, World Literature, Psychology, Social Sciences, American Literature, Creative Writing, British Literature, Social Sciences, Literary Analysis, World Civilization, and Introduction to Fiction. I also can help students prepare for the ACT, SAT, AP, and PSAT tests. My favorite subjects are Public Speaking, English, Phonics, and Elementary Math. My philosophy when teaching is to play on a student's strengths and interests in order to enhance the experience and to keep the student engaged. I earned a B.A. in History and a minor in Communication Studies from Elmhurst College. Currently, I am a student at Loyola University in Chicago pursuing a doctorate in Educational Administration. I also teach Hebrew School to 1st and 2nd graders. I currently reside in Bloomingdale, Illinois, and enjoy theater, color guard, reading, video games, as well as, walks where I can simply enjoy nature.
