My tutoring style is inspired by my own real-life epiphany in my own education. While I started college to study traditional animation styles in film, I have since begun to pursue a degree in Organic Chemistry, thanks to an entertaining and inspiring professor in the subject. I now tutor chemistry, and find it to be the most rewarding employment I have ever pursued. I love to see the look on students' faces when difficult parts of the subject finally click into place in their minds. I present my subject matter in an engaging and entertaining way, which helps students learn that even the most intimidating academic subjects can become great fun to learn. I particularly enjoy Organic Chemistry, which is a difficult subject at any grade level, but that class was the first time I realized my deep passion for science. I firmly believe that the only reason subjects like science and chemistry are considered difficult to learn is because teachers present them that way to their students. I have worked as a teaching assistant and am currently an Organic Chemistry instructor at a community college, in addition to tutoring grade school students.
