Experience
While in my last three years as an undergraduate at the University of Illinois at Chicago, I tutored students in Writing and English. After that and since graduating, I have been helping family and friends with their different papers, including college applications as well as applications for medical and law school. I enjoy teaching students writing when tutoring because I believe that it gives them the best ways to engage in their critical thinking skills and express their opinions. Although I mainly teach English and Writing, I am also able to teach many other subjects, including Algebra 1, Geometry, Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Algebra 2, Essay Editing, and much more. I really enjoy encouraging my students to set their own objectives. I also talk to them directly about their ideas before they even start the writing process.I earned my JD from the University of Illinois at Chicago and have a background in ethics and law. I also have an MS in bioethics, which I earned from the University of Sydney. During my free time, I like to travel a lot, read, and play sports. I am a big believer that all three of these things can teach you a lot if they are approached with an open mind.
