AVAILABLE TO TUTOR - SUMMER 2014 I'm a graduate of Naperville Central High School (Class of 2013) and I will be attending the University of Notre Dame in the Fall as a pre-med major.
Experience
I've had experience tutoring students in Chemistry, Honors Chemistry, Honors Physics, and Honors Precalculus. I received a 34 on the ACT, an 800 on the SAT II Math Level II, and a 770 on the SAT US History test. I have taken 7 AP tests. I received 5's on the AP Government and AP US History exams and I am awaiting the results of 5 more AP exams: AP Calculus BC, AP Chemistry, AP Physics C: Mechanics, AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism, and AP English Language and Composition. I've also taken AP US History and AP English Language and Composition. I want to be a tutor because I love helping other people and hope I can impart some of my passion for learning on to others. I've taken many relevent science and math courses including Honors Geometry, Honors Algebra 2, Honors Precalculus, AP Calculus BC, Honors Chemistry, Honors Biology, Honors Physics, AP Chemistry, and AP Physics C. By this summer, I will have completed introductory courses in intro biology, general chemistry, organic chemistry, psychology, and philosophy, among others. I love science and math, and I hope to use my knowledge in science to serve many people throughout my life in becoming a doctor. I also received second place in the American Society of Human Genetics National DNA Essay Contest in which approximately 6,000 students from around the world competed. My second place essay addresses pharmacogenetics and the future of medicine.
