I have a Master of Arts in Liberal Arts (Humanities) from North Central College and a Bachelor of Arts in History from DePaul University I offer face to face tutoring for an hourly fee as well as paper review and editing for a flat fee. My Services: I am available for online tutoring via skype, e-mail consultation, or traditional face to face tutoring sessions. I accept cash or Paypal payment (no personal checks). Preferred location for face to face sessions is the library, public or school.

Experience

I am a humanities professor specializing in European history with an emphasis on social and cultural histories; however, I also teach a range of courses in art appreciation and history, Eastern Civ, American History, and world culture. I was recently named the College-wide Outstanding PT Faculty Member at a high ranking community college and am currently nominated for a state-wide Outstanding Faculty Award. Both award nominations are based on my service to my students and community.

Hobbies

I am a Volunteer Leader with Chicago Cares, helping low-income communities impacted by aids and HIV. I like to use my free time to watch netflix and movies, read for fun, research, go to museums and cultural centers, and travel. I love working with people and easily get along with people of different backgrounds. My professional interests are in 18th-20th century social and cultural history (in the US, Britain, and France), the history of beauty and fashion, and student development in the classroom.
