Hobbies
I currently serve as the Captain of the Debate Team at NCHS, with a strong love of public speaking that was only realized in high school. I am also incredibly passionate about Business Professionals of America (BPA) in which I serve as the President at NCHS, and also Vice President of BPA IL State Association. Besides those, I am also the Vice President of Junior Class Council and also served as the Scholastic Bowl Captain of the JV Team. I am also involved in Latin Honors Society, National Honors Society, Math Team, Mu Alpha Theta (Math Honors Society), Badminton, Ultimate Frisbee, and NCHS Ambassadors. I used to play both piano and violin, and ran in the cross country team before I stopped due to an injury. I also enjoy painting (main medium: watercolor) in which I have won numerous competitions for. Besides other extracurriculars, I am also an active volunteer with 500+ hours over the course of 3 years in high school and also work at Edward Hospital. In previous summers, I have spent time volunteering at hospitals, translating at global conferences, researching at multiple colleges, and enjoying the warm weather.
